Summary
Jang Jang-Mi recalls how growing up she would always finish in second place. Her drive to finish first in the fencing tournament lost her a good friend of hers. She always looked down on Jin Pum-Gwang and her father who are construction workers. On the day of her jousting match, her old friend attempted to injure her by sparring with her in the street with a wooden sword that had iron in the middle. However, Pum-Gwang comes in to save her from the girl. During the match, her opponent targeted only her right wrist since she'd harmed it in her spar with her old friend. She realizes how much she's looked down on people and begins to admire Pum-Gwang for all of his efforts.
